Cryptocurrency prices
YouTuber and crypto journalist Stephen Findeisen, who has amassed millions of followers on social media under the name Coffeezilla, confronted Welch in a live X Space audio conversation Wednesday, titled “The Hawk Truth dish types.” In clips of the conversation, which circulated on X, Welch’s team denied Findeisen’s accusations of “rug pulling,” a term used in the crypto world for projects in which a coin’s creators seek to build hype and drive up a coin’s price only for them to sell their holdings at a profit, which then leaves other investors with devalued tokens after prices drop dramatically.
This comes after Welch promoted a Solana meme coin called Hawk Tuah (HAWK), in reference to her viral interview, that quickly imploded after its launch. Within 15 minutes, the token was created, soared to a $490 million market capitalization, before it crashed 93% in value—prompting a slew of rug pull allegations.
Fans and investors have accused Ms Welch and her team of “misleading” and “betraying” them and suggested the launch had been a “rug pull” – where promoters of a cryptocurrency draw in buyers, only to stop trading activity and make off with money raised from sales.
On the day of the token launch, Welch, Schultz, and an unnamed OverHere representative took to an X Spaces to calm down angry investors. But it didn’t work. Since then, OverHere appeared to shift blame onto Schultz. Welch hasn’t pointed to a specific party, but has excluded herself from the equation by saying she didn’t have anything to do with technicalities.

Pi network cryptocurrency
Pi Network follows a one-account-per-person policy through its Know Your Customer (KYC) solution. This system combines machine automation and human verification to authenticate user identities while preserving privacy. The KYC process emphasizes real individuals, combats fraudulent activities and enables fair participation in the mining process of the network. Pi’s identity verification approach balances scalability, security, and accessibility, allowing millions of users worldwide to validate their accounts while maintaining regulatory compliance.
Pi is really accessible to everyone out there. People can mine it by themselves using their mobile phones. So as long as you have a mobile device you can participate. And then, once you have mined it and eventually, especially when we migrate everyone to the mainnet…then you can use that currency to perform various activities on the network.
Mining on the network is done by simply pressing a button daily as the rewards replenish every 24 hours. Due to Pi’s regular halving — an event in which the number of coins mined is reduced to half — the network attracts more users due to its scarcity. In addition, the network remains secure by Pi’s “security circle” whereby groups of 3–5 users vouch for one another’s credibility through trust graphs.
Users who wish to join the network and mine PI must download the Pi Network’s mobile app, available on Android and iOS. The only thing you need to do is register with your phone number, Apple ID, or Facebook and provide a referral code.
Circulating Supply includes all Migrated Mining Rewards and all tokens that entered circulation from other buckets of the allocations, which at its maximum could be summed up to equal the Effective Total Supply.

On Dec. 4, when $HAWK tokens were launched, the meme coin rose to a $490 million market cap, before tanking by 95 percent within minutes to below $100 million. According to reports, investors lost a combined $151,000. The suit also accuses the team of exploiting Welch’s popularity to market the token, claiming insider trading and deceptive promotional practices took place.
On Thursday, a lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court in New York, was filed against the $HAWK creators. Filed by investors, it accuses overHere Ltd., its founder, Clinton So, and social media influencer, Alex Larson Schultz, as well as the Tuah The Moon Foundation of unlawfully promoting and selling cryptocurrency that was allegedly never properly registered. Welch, however, is not named as a defendant in the suit.
